Here is a short story...
When I become an entrepreneur, I started out having zero clients and $0 sales.
But I keep going because my motivation wasn't the money. My motivation was to make a positive impact and help others as much as I can.
I went several months without making a single dime. Although I enjoyed my work, I had bills and responsibilities that needed to taken care of.
Just when I was about to throw in the towel and cut my losses, a prospective client reached out to engage my services.
I was initially excited but later found out it was a small project, a simple website update that took less than 5mins.
Now I was torn to make a decision. Do I lie and tell the client the work took 2-3hours and get paid? Or I just come clean and lose the sale.
Although I was broke, I decided to come clean and not charge the client for 5mins of work.
Little did I know he was a CEO of multiple thriving businesses and only gave us that small project to test our credibility.
Days later, he called me up for a meeting and awarded my company multiple web design and digital marketing contracts.
That one single client opened the doors to so many other opportunities and business relationships.
The rest, they say it's history!
Today I've served over 4,000 clients, and my business is one of the top web design and digital agencies in Prince William County, VA.
I share this to encourage anyone trying to build their business and feel like throwing in the towel. Don't give up.
It only takes one breakthrough to turn things around. JUST ONE. At the 11th hour, when it feels all hope is lost, things can miraculously turn around for you.
It's happened for me, and it can happen for you too.
